This installation by Montreal artists ‘Artificiel’ was installed by us in the huge top floor of the Discovery museum for the AV Festival 2010. Each bulb was suspended in a grid pattern from the curved girders holding the roof up and plumbed onto its grid spot. The bulbs were then installed at graduated heights to create the sense of a tilted flat plane. The installation called for miles of cable to be run from each bulb to either side of the hall where the power was controlled, and took four days of work on a scissor-lift at maximum extension.
