‘Shoe’ was commissioned to make six works inspired by the Lindisfarne gospels during their sojourn in Durham. Woodhorn offered him some space to work on so he found a wall and a parking space he liked. We had very little to do with this particular work except drive him up and down in a scissor lift, but was great to see the man in action. Amazing what one can achieve with an old broom.
